Our Vision: A New Era for Youth Sports

Prevail Sports LLC was founded to close the gap between casual community recreation and elite athletic development. For too long, youth athletes in Anne Arundel County have had to navigate the inconsistencies, shifting schedules, and politics of traditional volunteer-run leagues.

We believed young athletes deserved better. Prevail was built on a simple premise: provide a hyper-competitive, highly structured environment where player development always comes first.

  • Paid, Vetted Experts. > By completely removing the volunteer parent model, we ensure every athlete receives elite, unbiased instruction from dedicated coaches who are evaluated strictly on player progression and safety.

  • No Park Fields. No Rainouts. We operate exclusively out of The Moose Athletic Center. Our athletes practice and compete on top-tier turf, giving them a consistent, safe, and professional stage to master their craft.

    Led by directors Isaac Clark (Pro Touch Passing) and CJ Montgomery (TrenchMob), our curriculum leverages modern, high-tempo football strategies designed to translate directly to the high school level.

Our Team

Demetrius Ballard,

Demetrius Ballard brings over 25 years of elite coaching and sports administration experience to Prevail Sports, including 8 years at Archbishop Spalding and his current role as Head Football Coach at Severn School, where he earned MIAA Coach of the Year honors.

For over a decade, he served as the Vice President of the AAYFA and a vital liaison to Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks. Known throughout the region as a celebrated leader and natural problem solver, Demetrius also manages facility logistics as the Director of Operations at The Moose Athletic Center. As a dedicated family man, he founded Prevail to deliver an elite, politics-free environment led exclusively by paid professionals.

Isaac Clark

Co-Director of Football Operations

Isaac brings elite-level skill training and modern offensive strategy to Prevail Sports as the owner of Pro Touch Passing. Deeply engrained in the current landscape of the sport, he oversees technical development and curriculum to ensure skill players master the precision and football IQ required to excel at the next level.

Larry Brown, Jr.

With over 25 years of deeply rooted experience in the athletic landscape, Larry Brown serves as the foundational pillar of operations for Prevail Sports LLC. A prominent fixture in the local sports community, Larry spent over a decade transforming youth athletics as the President of OMYA and has spent the last four years coaching at Severn School.

At Prevail, Larry channels his deep expertise and extensive football background into overseeing league logistics, compliance, and day-to-day operations. Known across the region for his approachable nature, steadfast loyalty, and natural ability to solve problems on the fly, Larry ensures that Prevail runs with the highest level of professionalism. He is entirely dedicated to creating a smooth, premier experience for every family, coach, and athlete that steps onto the turf.

Jenn Ballard,

Jenn is the foundational co-founder of Prevail Sports LLC, bringing nearly two decades of elite athletic administration and community leadership to the organization. Since founding OMYA in 2007, Jenn has championed organizational execution and operational standards, running the program alongside her husband, Demetrius.

At Prevail, she serves as the strategic anchor, focusing entirely on hitting high-level business goals and ensuring we strictly maintain our premium, professional standards. Seamlessly balancing this venture with her role as the Facility Coordinator at The Moose Athletic Center, Jenn’s veteran oversight guarantees that Prevail delivers an unparalleled, elite experience for every athlete.
